Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to this website and to services provided by Obsidian Digital ("I", "me"), operated by Brady Curelop. By using this website or hiring me for a project, you agree to these terms.

Services

I offer website design and development, redesigns, Google Business Profile setup, search engine optimization (SEO), Google Ads management and website updates. The scope, price and timeline for each project are set in a written quote or agreement. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement controls.

Quotes and payment

• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
• Payment terms, including any deposit, are listed in your quote or agreement.
• Work outside the agreed scope is billed separately, and I'll tell you before doing it.
• Recurring services, such as updates or ad management, are billed as agreed and can be canceled as described in your agreement.

Your content

You are responsible for the text, photos, logos and other materials you provide, and you confirm that you have the right to use them. You're also responsible for making sure the information on your site, such as prices, licenses and service claims, is accurate.

Ownership

Once your project is paid in full, you own the final website design and the content created for it. Third-party items such as fonts, plugins, stock images and hosting stay under their own licenses. I may show the finished work, including screenshots and a link, in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

Third-party services

Projects may rely on services I don't control, such as web hosting, domain registrars, Google Business Profile, Google Search Console and Google Ads. Their terms, fees, outages and policy changes are outside my control. Ad spend is paid by you directly to the ad platform unless agreed otherwise.

No guaranteed results

I'll do the work carefully and follow current best practices, but I can't guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, leads, reviews or ad results. Google and other platforms decide how listings and ads are ranked and shown.

Approvals and revisions

I'll send previews for your review before launch. The number of revision rounds is listed in your quote. Approving a preview or asking me to publish the site means you accept it as complete.

Canceling a project

Either of us can end a project with written notice. You pay for work completed up to that point, and any deposit covers work already done.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. My total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid me for that project.

This website

The content on this website is for general information. The design, text and logo of this website belong to Obsidian Digital and may not be copied without permission. Client work shown here belongs to the respective clients. Links to client websites and other sites are provided for convenience.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Changes don't affect projects already under a signed agreement.
